Dr. Patrick Fisher has spent his career working with the people that systems were designed to help -- but often don't. As Director of Counseling Services overseeing mental health support across 95 schools, he saw firsthand how invisible conditions -- anxiety, trauma, disability -- are misunderstood, underserved, and dismissed.

His doctoral research at Walden University (2021) examined the lived experiences of adults using emotional support animals to manage anxiety -- identifying six core therapeutic themes that now guide TheraPetic®'s clinical approach across its 11-organization network. That research became the foundation of The Invisible Bond, the first book in The Invisible Series.
